Back in 2021 I had recently read An Invitation from a Crab by panpanya. It’s a collection of short stories with a little essay at the end. Beautiful manga that still inspires my art today.

Point is I thought it was really cool and had been itching to try out motion graphics. Now I had a muse and ideas from other online edits of similar styles.

An important aspect I wanted to keep in mind was how the music and images worked together to create a mood and vibe. As weird as the opening picture is I didn’t want the video to be that serious.
